Next week (June 5 – 9, 2017) is Seniors’ Week.
That right there is good reason for a celebration! What a better reason to celebrate than having made it through to the fun part life.
Lethbridge has several excellent activities planned to help celebrate Seniors’, many of them taking place at the LSCO (Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organization). You should make a point of coming out to enjoy them.
The LSCO is kicking off Seniors’ week with free coffee and donuts for staff and members. Thanks to Servus Credit Union West Side Location. This looks like a great way to meet up with some friends for coffee on Monday morning.
After you have enjoyed the morning coffee social, stop by another meet and greet to talk about parent-child relationships with Lavonn Mutch.
The NORBRIDGE SENIOR CENTER is hosting a pancake breakfast on June 6 from 8:30 – 10:30 for a cost of $2.oo. Everyone is welcome to attend.
What is Pickleball? Good question! Apparently it is a mixture of tennis, badminton and ping pong. It can be played both as singles or doubles. Looks like it could be fun, and a great way to get some physical activity. You don’t even need to pre-register for this and it’s free.
Servus Credit Union is hosting and Information hour on How Long Will My Money Last, may be worth a listen.
On June 8, the LSCO is hosting a Pancake Breakfast. The cost of this breakfast is $4.00 and everyone is welcome to attend!
Enjoy the LSCO Pub Fest as a great way to wrap up the week. Head down for Music, Wings and Refreshments.
If you are into golf, be sure to register for the 55 plus Golf Event at the Evergreen Golf Center. All skills levels are welcome, but you must register for this by June 8th
Be sure to let us know, so we can update the information.
Get out and Enjoy!
With Warmth and Respect,
Linda and Heather
